I am a fully qualified,
UKCP-registered Psychotherapist and Certified Transactional Analyst
(CTA-P).
I offer both short and long-term work - with individuals, couples and groups - in Witney, central Oxford and online.

We live in stressful and challenging times, often accompanied by an unspoken message that we should feel constantly happy and positive. Yet our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world can evoke joy, distress, confusion, and uncertainty.

I aim to provide a safe space for you to talk when life feels overwhelming or too challenging. Sometimes it’s clear what’s causing the difficulty—such as a relationship breakdown, work, or parenting—while at other times it may be a need to share feelings of unhappiness, loss, or hopelessness.

My hope for you is that therapy will help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself—how past patterns of relating may be holding you back, how powerfully culture shapes us, and how your family’s history lives within you—so that you can transform how you see yourself and how you relate to others and the world.

I work with close attention to the unique pain each person brings, while also recognising the systemic forces that affect us all. Power, inequality, and social structures impact mental health in different ways depending on race, gender, class, sexuality, disability, and other aspects of identity. My approach recognises and engages with both personal experience and the wider contexts in which it arises.

I have experience of working with the following issues: depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, panic attacks, maternal mental health, identity, work-related problems, stress, relationship difficulties, bullying, loss and bereavement, sexuality, gender identity, mixed-heritage backgrounds.

I was brought up in a mixed-cultural environment and have lived and worked in a number of different countries. I will value and respect your social and cultural perspective.
I have been working in the field of mental health since 2014 and completed 5 years Counselling and advanced Psychotherapy training (level 7). I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and my practice abides by their code of professional conduct and ethical principles. My work is closely supervised by a senior UKCP-accredited supervisor. I am also a member of UKATA (the UK association of Transactional Analysis) and The Relational School (TRS).
